We’re seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems. You’ll work directly with clients and our landscape team to keep properties watered efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems including trenching, piping, heads, valves, and controllers
- Diagnose and repair existing irrigation system issues including leaks, broken heads, faulty valves, and controller malfunctions
- Perform seasonal system startups and winterizations
- Install and program smart controllers with weather sensing technology
- Conduct backflow preventer testing and certification
- Provide clients with system operation instructions and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Qualifications
- 1+ years of irrigation installation and repair experience preferred
- Knowledge of sprinkler head types, valve operation, and controller programming
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate trenching equipment safely
- Can work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Texas irrigator or installer license a plus
